A from akuto sans serif

The first-born son of Akuto™ Display, Akuto™ Sans Serif is the typographic amalgam of his father’s humanist and charismatic spirit and his grandfather’s royal lineage.

Unlike his ancestors’ royal magnanimity and his father’s dream of being recognised and contemplated in newspapers, magazines, and book headlines, son Akuto™ Sans Serif represents the coming of age of the new generation in the Akuto family tree.

Growing up, Akuto™ was highly influenced by his father’s relinquishment of its royal descendency, which led him to follow his own path towards affirmation and self-expression — a brave act of rebellion son Akuto always looked up to and now tries to mimic on his own terms.

Specially designed to be applied to subheads and text and accommodate more than 80 Latin-related languages, this typeface is available in a total of eight weights (extra-light, light, regular, medium, semibold, bold, extra-bold, and black) and two styles (regular and italic).

In addition to the usual set of uppercase, lowercase, numerals, diacritics, and punctuation characters, Akuto™ Sans Serif also features a set of ligatures (both in uppercase and lowercase), alternates, arrows, and symbols.

Being a geometric-humanist typeface, it presents a typographic design that balances the vitality and grotesque characteristics of our rebel. Akuto™ is also a strategist who loves chess, an attribute reflected in a set of chess-themed symbols at your disposal.

You can purchase Akuto™ Sans Serif in separate weights or a variable version.
